Friday, September 19
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Kick-off bonfire at the Library Teepee and featuring a guided Medicine Walk on the campus trails with Norm Dokis.
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Community Event – Downtown Gallery Hop – explore North Bay’s galleries, museums, and shops as you “hop” from place to place. Giveaways in Capitol Centre Lobby.
Saturday, September 20
9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Community Event – North Bay Farmer’s Market – Shop local produce and handmade goods at the bustling Farmer’s Market. Giveaways while supplies last. Parking lot beside the North Bay Museum.
11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Community Event – Bay Beats Festival at Kiwanis Bandshell. All-day live music, community vibes, and free Heritage Railway and Carousel Rides!
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Lakers Homecoming Soccer Games. Cheer on the Lakers at Turf Field – school spirit never goes out of style.
Bring the whole family! The KidZone will be packed with face painting, bouncy castle(s), lawn games, and snacks to keep the fun going.
Fuel up with classic BBQ favourites and cold drinks, served up by Sodexo – your first item is free!
Stock up on Lakers gear and Homecoming merch at the Lakers Pop Up Shop.
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Alumni Pub Night + Beer Tasting. Reconnect with old friends and make new memories! Enjoy local brews, entertainment, and take home a special Anniversary Beer Glass (while supplies last). Alumni will also receive a complimentary beverage – on the house!
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Community Event – Artisans Way Night Market at Kiwanis Bandshell. Magical night market featuring local vendors, food, and more – plus free Carousel and Train Rides keep rolling!
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Lacrosse Game at Turf Field. Catch the action during the evening game.
Reconnect with Nature
Begin your Homecoming experience with a bonfire at Library Teepee, accompanied by a serene Medicine Walk, guided by a local expert who will share the rich tapestry of indigenous plant life and traditional healing practices.
Cheer for the Lakers
Get your game face on for thrilling athletic games. Cheer on our teams as they strive for victory, showcasing the best of Lakers’ sportsmanship and talent.
Family Fun
Our BBQ and KidZone activities promise fun for the whole family. Enjoy delicious food, face painting, and games that will keep the little Lakers entertained all day long.
Alumni Celebrations
As the sun sets, the fun doesn’t stop. The Alumni Pub Night is your chance to relive the good old days. Raise a glass with old friends, make new ones, and dance the night away to live music.

What to Bring
Students: have your digital student ID card and proof of ID on hand throughout the weekend.
What Not to Bring
No outside food and beverages allowed at athletic game venues, including at the Memorial Gardens.
