Begin your Homecoming experience with a bonfire at Library Teepee, accompanied by a serene Medicine Walk, guided by a local expert who will share the rich tapestry of indigenous plant life and traditional healing practices.
Cheer for the Lakers
Get your game face on for thrilling athletic games. Cheer on our teams as they strive for victory, showcasing the best of Lakers’ sportsmanship and talent.
Family Fun
Our BBQ and KidZone activities promise fun for the whole family. Enjoy delicious food, face painting, and games that will keep the little Lakers entertained all day long.
Alumni Celebrations
As the sun sets, the fun doesn’t stop. The Alumni Pub Night is your chance to relive the good old days. Raise a glass with old friends, make new ones, and dance the night away to live music.

Shuttle Bus Services
Enjoy the convenience of our free shuttle bus service during Homecoming! This service is available to all Homecoming participants and Nipissing students. Just remember to bring your Student ID card to access the shuttle. For pick-up and drop-off locations, please refer to the information below. Let’s make your Homecoming experience smooth and enjoyable!

Gallery Hop Shuttle
- 1 bus at 5:45pm, return at 9:05pm
- Pick-up/drop-off at Lucky 13, all 3 NU Residences and Gormanville Rd to/from the Transit Terminal
Nipissing University Homecoming Men’s Hockey Shuttle
- 2 buses at 6:30pm (loop back until no students left)
- Pick-up at Lucky 13, all 3 NU Residences and Gormanville Rd to Memorial Gardens (Gate 2 – Front Entrance)
- 2 buses at 9:30pm (loop back until no students left)
- Pick-up at Memorial Gardens (Gate 2 – Front Entrance) to The Boat, Gormanville Rd, Lucky 13 and all 3 NU Residences
Post-Bar Night at The Boat Shuttle
- 2 buses at 1:45am (loop back until no students left)

What to Bring
Students: have your digital student ID card and proof of ID on hand throughout the weekend.
What Not to Bring
No outside food and beverages allowed at athletic game venues, including at the Memorial Gardens.

Downtown Gallery Hop – explore North Bay’s galleries, museums, and shops as you “hop” from place to place. Be sure to check out Corbin Elliot (BFA ‘22), who will have his work on display at the WKP Kennedy Gallery.
Shuttle service to and from the event will be available.
