LivingWorks ASIST is a two-day, in-person workshop that equips participants with practical skills to provide suicide first aid. Through engaging audiovisuals, group discussions, and hands-on simulations, you’ll learn how to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide and how to intervene effectively.
What You’ll Learn
- How to identify signs that someone may be at risk of suicide
- How to provide a skilled intervention and develop a personalized safety plan
- How personal and community attitudes toward suicide can influence help-seeking and support
- How to build confidence, capacity, and willingness to offer suicide first aid
Led by two knowledgeable and supportive trainers, this workshop ensures a safe and comfortable learning environment for all participants.
